The Stone Pick is a tool which lets you harvest more resources than with just your bare hands. You also won't take damage when harvesting trees or rocks.
It deals less damage than your bare fists, which can be useful for bola taming.
It harvests certain materials in larger quantities than a Hatchet. For rocks this is metal and flint. For trees this is thatch.
