bot edits[edit source]
hi there, curious why your bot is removing the pagename template entries and replacing it with the page title, isn't it the same function but removing the dynamic option if the page is moved?--Vorath99 (talk) 00:23, 5 January 2019 (UTC)
- Most of the time, it would be functionally the same, but there are a handful of reasons not to do it so it's mostly just a general good practice thing. Looks sloppy, causes issues if things needs to be transcluded (such as with the combined infoboxes, if you're familiar with them from the ark wiki), can cause issues if the parameter its being fed into needs to be parsed somehow, and it's just an extra (very) little calculation to do to generate the page.

Unable to create a new page. a local filter is saying it has harmful language[edit source]
Attempting to submit this page: https://atlas.gamepedia.com/index.php?title=D5_Kraken%27s_Cove&action=submit Gamepedia support said it a local filter and that I had to contact a community admin NZVengeance (talk) 21:41, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
- I modified the filter and added the page for you.

Last Major Template[edit source]
Hi, I created a Last Major template based off current version to be edited on Major version jumps because the front page automatically sets last version to VX.0 regarlgess if there as been one ore not. Have updated the Full Patch Updates page to use this. Let me know if this makes sense, and if it does could you change the home page to use this template please? - Added. Updated the docs to point to each other as well.

Front Page About Section[edit source]
https://atlas.gamepedia.com/Atlas_Wiki/Top_section Should probably be updated since this does not reflect the current status, not upcoming and could be a bit more descriptive while being breif. Is that something you can update or grant us the option to edit? Sgthawkeye117 (talk) 20:37, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
- I gave it an overall update, but if you have a specific rewrite you'd like to propose I'd be glad to take a look at it.
