Typhoons occur normally in deep water. During a storm, water spouts will form continuously. They will move a distance then disappear and reappear in another location. They may last around 10–20 minutes.
If you get caught in one your ship will take extreme damage. From a slight touch, our ship sustained 8000 damage between two panels on a schooner. Try to navigate between them until the skies clear.
