Overview[edit | edit source]

Sea Salt.png Salt is a resource under the generic Sea Salt.png Salt type of resources. All the non-generic resources of this type are:

The various kinds of Sea Salt.png Salt are used in a large number of meals, are used as an ingredient in Preserving Salt.png Preserving Salt (which is used in Preserving Bag.png Preserving Bags to preserve food goods) and is required to make Cobalt Ingot.png Cobalt Ingots in a Forge.png Forge.

The most common way to find small amounts of Sea Salt.png Salt in the early game is to dig sandy beaches with a Shovel.png Shovel. Your success will depend on random luck, but may pay off with 1-4 units every now and again.

Salt nodes are best harvested with a Metal Pick.png Metal Pick or a Rhino.png Rhino.

Usage[edit | edit source]

Used to make preserving salt. Must unlock preservents in the cooking and farming skill tree before salt can be used to craft preserving salts.
