Stats[edit | edit source]

Domestication[edit | edit source]

Taming[edit | edit source]

Taming takes Prime Fish Meat.png Prime Fish Meat (best) or Fish Meat.png Fish Meat.

They have very little health so it is advised to use your fists or a Spyglass.png spyglass to bring them within taming range.

Utility[edit | edit source]

Penguins increase warmth when held, and in AoE range. Can also be your friend by hugging you when times are gloomy. 33 Hypothermic Insulation when held. (level 3 penguin)

Penguins provide a hypothermic buff in a very small area around them. (Ea. 25 Hypothermic Insulation AoE for a level 3 penguin)

Ex Lvl 2 (lvl 1 pretame) +32 hypo when held or +27 hypo when standing close enough to touch

Lvl44 (lvl 30 pretame) +51 hypo when held or +42 hypo when standing close enough to touch

Leveling melee damage will increase the hypothermal insulation, 2 points in melee will increase Hypo by 1 point. The melee damage stat determines the amount of the increase but determining the ratio requires further testing (or someone to find it in the devkit).

*Buff does not appear at the bottom of the screen
