Alternative Format Seed List

Seeds can be gathered from harvesting wild vegetables either by hand or with a tame animal. Seeds may be eaten for a tiny amount of nourisment but are more effectively used in Farming.

Each seed can be grown in a limited range of soil types. The in-game tooltip for each seed lists either the soil types in which it CAN be planted, or the soil types in which it CANNOT be planted. The following table indicates seed, and soil type compatibility.

Bean Seed.png Beans Seed Can only be planted in:
  • Temperate (Dirt, Grass, Leaves, Thatch, or Wood)
  • Tundra (Dirt, Grass, Leaves, Thatch, or Wood)
  • Tropical (Dirt, Grass, Leaves, Thatch, or Wood)
  • Desert (Dirt)
  • Equatorial (Dirt, Grass, Leaves, Thatch, or Wood)
Beet Seed.png Beet Seed Can only be planted in:
  • Equatorial (Dirt, Grass, Leaves, Thatch, or Wood)
  • Desert (Dirt, Grass, Leaves, Sand, Thatch, or Wood)
  • Tropical (Dirt, Grass, Leaves, Thatch, or Wood)
Cactus Seed.png Cactus Seed Can only be planted in:
  • Equatorial (Dirt, Grass, Leaves, Thatch, or Wood)
  • Desert (Dirt, Grass, Leaves, Sand, Thatch, or Wood)
  • Tropical (Dirt, Grass, Leaves, Thatch, or Wood)
Carrot Seed.png Carrot Seed Can only be planted in:
